The Lesotho Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS (LENEPWHA) is an umbrella body of Community based organisations of People living with HIV in Lesotho. LENEPWHA’s focus areas are HIV prevention, advocacy and impact mitigation targeting People living with HIV both as beneficiaries and service providers to peers in need of HIV related services. LENEPWHA is currently sub-granted by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and EGPAF (through funding from USAID, CDC and UNITAID) and Karabo ea Bophelo through USAID funding.

Under the Karabo ea Bophelo (KB) OVC project LENEPWHA seeks suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

YOUTH OFFICERS X 10

Key responsibilities

  • Report  to the Youth Specialist
  • Support community-based, implementation of the KB project including linking clients to SRH and HIV services.
  • Strengthen and support implementation of GBV prevention and post-violence care services in assigned district.
  • Enhance access to and utilization of adolescent-friendly HIV and other health services for in-school and out-of-school OVC and AGYW.
  •  Enhance the capacity of the Youth Mentors through trainings and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in social work.
    • Minimum 2 year experience in the implementation of the OVC support interventions.
    • Ability to work under minimal supervision
