Overview
Mosepele Foundation is looking for vibrant and passionate young people to join the organisation as Youth Advocacy Officer Interns. Successful candidates will be at the forefront of mobilising young people, amplifying their voices, and driving advocacy on issues that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilise: Organise and engage young people in communities, schools, and online for campaigns and events.
- Speak Up: Represent the organisation in public forums, workshops, and community dialogues.
- Advocate: Support advocacy campaigns on youth rights, health, and social justice.
- Content Creation: Help create engaging content for social media and outreach materials.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure all activities respect and include young people of different backgrounds, genders, abilities, and beliefs.
- Reporting: Track activities, attendance, and feedback from mobilisations.
Requirements
- Aged between 21 and 35 years.
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills in English and Sesotho.
- Proven experience or a strong passion for mobilising young people in schools, clubs, churches, or online platforms.
- Strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect for all.
- Passion for advocacy and social change.
- Confident, energetic self-starter who can work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer and social media skills will be an added advantage.
