About the Training
3iS is pleased to announce a four-day, in-person Humanitarian Information Management (IM) Foundations Training, designed specifically for women professionals working in the humanitarian, development, and social impact sectors in Ethiopia.
Strong information management skills are among the most powerful tools a humanitarian professional can have. This training creates a safe, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment where participants can build practical data skills, grow their professional confidence, and connect with a peer network of women working across the sector.
This training is fully funded through European Union Humanitarian Aid and is provided at no cost to participants.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the Humanitarian Information Management Cycle and its role in humanitarian response
- Design and deploy digital data collection tools using KoboToolbox
- Clean and organize datasets using Microsoft Excel
- Develop basic dashboards and data visualizations for humanitarian reporting
Who Should Attend
This training is open to women working in the humanitarian, development, and social impact sectors. No prior data or IM experience is required — the training is beginner-friendly and welcomes participants at all levels.
