Who may enter
The competition is open to amateur and professional artists aged 17 and over.

Description
The Wildlife Artist of the Year is an annual wildlife art competition. It is organized by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

The judges will accept all traditional artistic mediums, excluding digital and photography.

The seven categories for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019 are: Animal Behaviour | Earth’s Wild Beauty | Human Impact (17-25 yrs) | Into the Blue | Urban Wildlife | Vanishing Fast.

Entry fees
Entry to the ‘Human Impact’ category for young people aged 17-25 years is £10 per entry.
For all other categories, entries are £25 per entry or £10 (per entry) for DSWF members.

Prizes
• First prize: £10,000
• Second prize: £1,000
• 7 category winners receiving £500 each
