VACANCIES
SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.) is the Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.
The scope of work includes construction of a concrete-faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1 km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu (Orange) Rivers, a saddle dam, and a gravity tunnel connecting Polihali Reservoir to Katse Reservoir.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
Welders (x6)
Position Overview
Responsible for high-quality welding, including destructive and non-destructive testing, ensuring compliance with standards.
Qualifications
• Certified Welder under ASME or equivalent standard
• Knowledge of proper surface preparation
• Strong safety and quality adherence
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to handle heavy materials
• Compliance with PPE and safety rules
