The occupation of Palestine by the Israeli government for more than five decades, as well as the attention that this has raised up in the international community, has gone through different stages, drawing the attention of the international media in different degrees. Nevertheless, the usual and most common narratives have not tended to deviate from the more traditional approach, which has meant that understanding the causes, consequences and power relations of the current situation and its prospects require a major effort in the so-called “information age”.
Getting a complete picture, having heard the different voices and perspectives will allow us to understand the reality. In this roundtable, we will analyze, from a wide perspective, topics traditionally made invisibles about the situation in Palestine.
We have invited journalists’ women who work or have worked in Palestine to share their challenges and difficulties to inform about what is happening in Palestine.
