VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Women Initiatives Lesotho (WIL) is a non-profit organization established in 2023 to restore the natural environment and promote socioeconomic empowerment for women and youth.
WIL works with underserved communities through education, advocacy, environmental stewardship, health, agriculture, food security, and nutrition programmes to improve livelihoods.
WIL is an equal opportunity organization and does not discriminate. We are therefore seeking suitable, qualified, dedicated, and passionate volunteers to fill the following positions within the organization.
Available Volunteer Positions
- Communications Officer
- Project Officer
- Graduate Trainees
Basic Entry-Level Requirements (All Positions)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
(e.g. Project Management, Development Studies, Communications, Administration, CAT or Accounting for Graduate Trainees) - Experience working with NGOs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for community development and social impact
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Role-Specific Requirements
1. Communications Officer
- Social media management and content creation skills
2. Project Officer
- Project planning, implementation, and monitoring skills
3. Graduate Trainees
- Resource mobilization
- Accounting and administration support
