Our mrp team is recruiting a Visual Display Artist for the Mall of Africa store in Midrand.
The main objective of this role is to create attractive visual displays to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, drive isles and in-store displays in line with the visual merchandising standards to ensure a seamless customer experience by creating a fashion theatre feel.
In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Creating attractive visual displays throughout the store, keeping in line with visual merch standards set out by support centre, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Ensureing visual merchandise guides are implemented onto the sales floor, windows and any other locations in the store
- Dressing all mannequins
- Uploading completed drive aisles, windows and promos on our store communication platform
- Working closely with the support centre Visual Merchandise team
- Ensuring promotions are implemented correctly
- Ensuring price and products are displayed in the most visually attractive way
- Managing store marketing material
- Ensureing the store has sufficient price points and signage to highlight our value offerings
- Constantly innovating and challenging processes to identify better ways of working to ensure we delight our customers
To stand out in this role, you would need:
- Grade 12
- Relevant retail visual merchandise experience
- A flair for design and colour
- Be creative, imaginative and energetic
- An understanding of mrp’s target market and know how to appeal to them
- Awareness of current trends and activities in design, fashion and culture
- Good communication skills to present ideas to others
- Ability to use large and small spaces effectively
- Technical drawing skills and be able to use computer-aided design packages.
