Tender Title: “Vehicles Short term hire ”

The Government of Lesotho through the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police invites sealed bids from suitable qualified companies for the Vehicles Short term hire.
LOT 1- 22 vehicles short term hire x 7 days
LOT 2- 8 vehicles short term hire x 8 months
Bid documents are obtainable from Procurement Unit of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Moposo House, Room 5-37 Kingsway, Maseru.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Financial capabilities; – Current bank statement for three months and a letter from the bank as an assurance that the supplier will be financed for incapable suppliers.
OR – Tenderers own current financial statements together with an audit opinion from a qualified independent Auditor.
- Mandatory requirements.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- All vehicles should have a fire extinguisher.
- Attach certified copies of registration certificates/blue cards of vehicles.
- Attach certified copies of insurance certificates from insurance companies registered with Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL) not insurance brokers, for all six categories of vehicles (insured with passenger liability).
- Attach copy of vehicle’s owner.
- Provided Individual/ Company details form should be filled.
- Attach valid relevant Trading License for companies.
- Attach valid copy of Tax Clearance (Both companies & individuals).
- Companies intending to work with individuals must provide an agreement signed by both parties together with the vehicle’s documents.
- Attach a certified copy of National ID or Passport of the Owner or Shareholders.
- Attach certified Share Certificate of shareholders from Registrar of companies (NOT COMPANY’S EXTRACT).
- 2019 to the latest model MUST provide a valid roadworthy certificate (Certificate of fitness).
Sealed bids, original copy bearing no identification of the bidder clearly marked “LOT 1-22 Vehicles Short term hire” and “LOT 2-8 Vehicles Short term hire” should be deposited at the tender box on or before 12:30 noon on 25th August, 2023 at the Ministry’s Tender Box placed on 5th Floor, Moposo House, Kingsway, Maseru. Bids arriving after the closing time will be returned unopened. The bids will be opened publicly at 2:30 P.M. on the same day in the Boardroom of MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND CHIEFTAINSHIP, HOME AFFAIRS AND POLICE at the Headquarters Building.
