Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL) is a network of churches’ owned health facility including 8 hospitals, 71 Health Centres and 4 Nursing Training Institutions throughout the country. It is constitutionally mandated to facilitate participation of Christian churches in ensuring that the right to health for all is upheld to the highest quality. The Association collaborates with various partners in delivering health care services to fulfil its mandate and as such implements various donor funded projects to promote good health for all Basotho. CHAL therefore, invites suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER
The Senior Program Manager will provide programmatic and implementation oversight for VMMC activities for Khanya Project. He/she will lead the coordination of CHAL’s work under the Khanya project for the VMMC site expansion plan, training, reporting, demand creation, and work planning. He/She will coordinate the mapping and planning of program expansion, considering different service delivery models in order to reach the VMMC targets. The SPM will report to Deputy Executive Director with a dotted line to Jhpiego’s Senior Grants and Program Officer.
Degree in Health Science with speciality in Public Health or any other related field plus seven (7) years’ relevant experience in HIV/AIDS prevention programmes
Knowledge of basic project management tools is an add advantage.
SENIOR VMMC COORDINATOR
The Senior VMMC Coordinator will work with the Khanya project team to support integration of VMMC services into HIV prevention and other CHAL facility initiatives. He/she will oversee capacity building and the provision of VMMC services by CHAL facilities, leading facility teams to meet targets. There will be close collaboration with Jhpiego and MOH at national and district levels. The position reports to Senior Program Manager with a dotted line reporting to Jhpiego’s Technical Team.
Degree in Health Science with a speciality in Public Health or Diploma in Public Health plus five (5) years’ relevant experience in HIV/AIDS prevention programmes.

Nine (9) months fixed term contract
