Qualification
Relevant Teaching or Youth Development Qualification
Coaching Qualification and/or Facilitation Qualification advantageous
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience working in schools.
An Educator/HOD with a track record of engaging youth in the school space
Attributes / Abilities / Characteristics
Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills including verbal, written and visual
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with adults and young people
Build trusted and inspiring relationships with youth and colleagues
Proficient in written and verbal English
Able to simplify messaging with clarity of purpose, meaning and impact
Good attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Good team player as well as having the ability to work independently
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fluid environment
Well respected in the education space
Innovative – able to think out of the box

Key Performance Areas
Training Programme and Material Development
Develop and refine Values Champion training material in conjunction with the Programme Team and in alignment with the strategy
Values Champion Events Scheduling and Reporting
Schedule and manage the national Values Champion Events Training Plan
Review, Monitoring and Reporting
Schedule Planning Meetings and Post-Training Debriefs with Provincial Managers and Admin and Logistics staff members
Input into M&E Indicators with M&E Manager
Devise Values Champion Events reporting format with Programme Lead
Report, after each Values Champion Event, and on a quarterly basis nationally
Visit provinces and schools/obtain information from School Engagement Officers on progress of Values Champions post training
Training
Train the Values Champions according to the Values Champion Events Programme
Train Values Champions trainers and manage confirmation of trainers for Values Champion Events
Train the Provincial Managers, Admin and Logistics and School Engagement Officers on their roles and responsibilities during Values Champion training
Support VCC
Work with Programme Team and Provincial Managers to confirm showcase practices at VCC
Programme Support
Support Educator presentations on occasion
Participate in COPs
