Competence Requirements

Minimum N3 Mechanical qualification, with a Trade Test,

Good interpersonal skills and a bias for action with knowledge of SAP PM.

An understanding of WCM principles would be advantageous.

Management skills.

People handling ability.

Mental alertness, analytical and problem solving skills.

Conceptual skills.

Subject matter expert.

Utilities Plant and process knowledge would be advantageous [Steam, Co2, Water, Air, Refrigeration]

Min 1 Year Post apprenticeship experience

Ammonia, Co2 and Chlorine equipment experience compulsory

Output and Accountabilities

Comply with all safety and lock out procedures

Understand the OHS Act

Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to within the functional area of operation


Ensuring all environmental standards are met


Ensure good housekeeping practices

Ensure machines and working areas are clean and aesthetically presentable

Performance Management

Ensure good communication practices

Apply Management and Self-Management practices
