Talent Pool – Lesotho
Lesotho is increasingly affected by climate-related shocks, including recurrent droughts, erratic rainfall, and periodic flooding, which continue to impact livelihoods, food security, and vulnerable communities, especially in remote and mountainous areas.
At the same time, the country’s evolving electoral landscape, characterized by regular election cycles and coalition governance, places additional demands on institutions, coordination mechanisms, and service delivery. Periods surrounding elections require strengthened capacity to support governance processes, ensure continuity of services, and enhance community engagement.
In this context, the UNV Programme is strengthening the talent pool in Lesotho to enhance preparedness and ensure the timely availability of skilled professionals who can support humanitarian response, election-related operations, governance processes, and recovery efforts when needed.
We are looking for professionals across Lesotho who are ready to contribute their expertise in:
- Coordination and programme support
- Field operations and community engagement
- Electoral and governance support
- Climate resilience and recovery initiatives
Where we are looking:
We strongly encourage registration from candidates with a background in the following fields: Software Development, Cyber Security, Legal, Social Policy, Finance, Data/IT, and based in Lesotho.
