Position: Translator (Arabic–English)
The Embassy of Libya seeks a Translator fluent in Arabic and English, with strong knowledge of Lesotho’s media landscape and local newspapers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken command of Arabic and English.
- Familiarity with Lesotho’s media and news environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Media or Mass Communication
- Political Science
- Law
- Prior translation or media experience within official or journalistic institutions is an advantage.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform written and oral translations between Arabic and English.
- Monitor and analyze local and regional news related to Libyan affairs.
- Prepare periodic media reports on major developments.
- Assist in drafting press releases and official statements.
