We are looking for the following skill: Transaction Processing Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Main Purpose
To support the business in all aspects of transactional finance through processing of high volumes of accounting transactions in a meticulous and efficient manner.
Position Requirements
Education
General Accounting or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certifications
Certification to a Finance /Accounting professional body will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar experience.
- Financial services experience is advantageous.
Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of Accounting Financial Management principles.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Knowledge of Data Analysis.
- Information or digital technology savviness, and willingness to learn and develop.
- Business process management knowledge.
Skills
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong time management.
- Ability to adapt to changing environment.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools with focus to excel.
- Business analytics skills.
- Information technology skills.
Critical Deliverables/Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Processing Transactions: Execute and process various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, such as payments, transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Data Entry and Verification: Input transaction data into the system and verify the accuracy of information provided to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Documentation: Maintain and update transaction records, documents, and files in a systematic and organized manner.
- Transaction Monitoring: Monitor transactions for potential fraud, errors, or unusual activities and report any suspicious transactions or incidents to the appropriate authority.
- Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to customers regarding transaction-related inquiries, issues, or discrepancies, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, statements, and reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
