Phakamani Foundation is a Christian nonprofit micro-finance institution that empowers poor women to succeed at micro-enterprise. The Organisations integrated programme of micro-enterprise training, group loans, and on-going support lead to income, savings, and hope for the next generation. The Foundation is a registered not-for-profit, Christian, public benefit organisation that serves people in need irrespective of race, religion, or creed.
Phakamani Foundation is taking applications for the Post of Training Officer based in White River but travelling throughoutall the provinces where Phakamani operates. An understanding and appreciation of of Development Microfinance is a requirements. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of training, preparation of training material.
Applicants must be fluent in English and a local language, have relevant experience in the field of micro-finance, basic math skills, strong communication / people skills, a solid work ethic and sound integrity. Applicants must also have a driver’s license and be willing to travel.
