It is designed to equip practitioners with the minimum skills required to handle the difficulties involved with importing and clearing humanitarian aid into affected countries, understand affected countries context specific aspects and the importance of complete and quality documentation, identify involved stakeholders, and understand the information flow between humanitarian organizations and customs administrations. It also sheds light on the challenges raised by the humanitarian community, customs, and other government agencies in the process of clearing consignments to the final beneficiaries.
