What we offer
A traineeship of 6 months in the Political, Press and Information area of the EU Delegation to Lesotho, starting in May 2022, subject to respect to the local legislation, to perform the following tasks:
- Information gathering and analysis on political, social, and economic developments in Lesotho, and assisting in the preparation of reports on such developments and dynamics;
- Attendance and reporting on relevant external meetings, e.g. conferences, seminars, etc;
- Translation of documents of interest for the Delegation from Sesotho;
- Assist in analysis of media reports, in the monitoring and preparation of contents for social media and in the organization of public events of the EU Delegation.
What are we looking for
- Minimum: A bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics or Law.
- A Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum B average grade.
- Maximum one year of professional experience.
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English and Sesotho.
- Due to the very evolving context of the COVID-19 pandemic, only applicants residing in Lesotho will be considered.
