Your key functional areas would include:
- International planning
- Populate reports to track sales/stock/KPI’s by region/territory and circulate to all stakeholders
- Optimising sales opportunities by providing input and managing the flow of stock to gain maximum return by territory
- Communicating and executing international strategy with merchant teams, creating alignment across the business
- Management of stock flow into foreign territories, including liaison with supply chain
Location planning
- Understanding the principles of location planning and implement in mrphome
- Develop effective communication channels within operations teams
- Develop effective strategies to optimise opportunities for store specific occurrences eg: coastal store needs, university towns
- Maintain store grading process which accounts for customer centric nuances
- Manage strategic allocations to ensure optimal balance of stock in stores
- Monitor and provide input into volumes behind promoted and marketed item based on analysis and understanding of customer behaviour based on regional nuances
- Understanding of the international price matrix in line with pricing strategy
Key requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Commerce/Maths/Stats degree or relevant experience.
- Display a passion for the merchandise processes (a minimum of 2-5 years allocating/location planning/international planning/merchandise planning experience would be advantageous)
- Competent in Microsoft applications
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
- Able to work and meet deadlines in a high performing team
- Logical, methodical approach
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the business
- Initiative, results driven and have the ability to work under pressure
- Analytical, conceptual, problem solving and solution-driven
