- Trainee Clinical Manager (x1):
- A Medical Qualification, minimum of 10 years’ experience in Clinical Practice. A post graduate qualification in a related field of management will be advantageous. Registration with the Lesotho Medical, Pharmacy & Dental Council, 3 or more years’ managerial experience in a clinical setting will be an added advantage.
Supervises all clinicians and allied health professionals in the patient care setting, ensures the implementation of Best International Clinical Practice guidelines. Designs a clinical governance strategy. Develops and customises policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and health care laws and regulations. Provides leadership in the professional development of clinical staff. Ensures the provision of a safe and cost effective quality patient care in line with the Clinical Governance strategy and evidence based practice.
Evaluates the patient’s journey and implementation of process changes to improve the delivery of appropriate care. Caseload analysis and implementation of corrective action where indicated. Builds and maintains effective relationships with all stakeholders. Builds strategic interdepartmental relationships.
