We are expanding the production team and are searching for a talented Traditional / Digital Traffic assistant.
It is important that you have the ability to motivate and ensure good performance from the creative and production team. Overall, you will need to assist the Traffic Manager on timing, deadlines and admin in order to ensure each job is on track, whilst handling the following key tasks:
- Assisting the Traffic Manager to manage and plan all work through the departments by tracking where all projects are at any given time and chase deadlines.
- Assist with the coordination of work of many different people in many different departments and ensure that work flows smoothly from department to department.
- Communication point between the various teams and departments.
- Setting up weekly department meeting with updates on all artwork tracking, update the minutes of the meeting and share this with the teams.
- Archiving old jobs and closing them on the system.
Minimum criteria:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in administration (working within an advertising agency is preferable but not compulsory)
- Self-disciplined with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a close knit team environment.
- A basic knowledge of DTP and print production is helpful, but not necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills to deal with various personalities
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills.
