You will implement the operational capabilities of the business and support the operational elements for the market. You will coordinate route planning, system capabilities and tools management for the sales team.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Coordinate and initiate customer and employee master data changes for sales including processing of data.
  • Support the implementation of organizational realignments for master data and administrative processes.
  • Support the revision/development of relevant sales policies and administrative processes including the provision in suitable media.
  • Test for system implementation and system changes working closely with sales as well as various internal departments and external service providers.
  • Identify and implement master data simplification opportunities.

  • Experience in customer service, logistics or sales support
  • Basic knowledge of sales systems and tools (including SAP and MS Excel)
  • Solid communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle and resolve multiple queries, respond quickly and maintain composure

More about this role

The role spans the leading and achievement of growth objectives across all categories plus other key commercial KPI’s (management of GTN, portfolio mix management and associated pricing levers aligned to approved mandates) for the TT channel which currently includes Diplomat, SG Convenience, Massmart, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and B&S Agencies.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

Key objective is to ensure consistent and sustained building of customer relationships both internally and externally. Development and management of direct and indirect reports. Evaluate RTM to drive improved efficiencies and revenue growth. Develop and implement customer facing plans (joint plans where appropriate i.e. with distributors), drive integrated cross-functional planning (eg. forecasting) and evaluate activity based ROI (ongoing). Integral in jointly developing channel strategic growth plans and executing accordingly.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelors degree (preferably commercial), MBA is an advantage

Job specific requirements:

+8 years experience in a similar role incl. 3 years at a senior management level

Travel requirements:

80% nationally and 20% neighbouring territories
