Tower Crane Operator x4 at SUN JV

SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.) is the Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.

SUN JV is constructing a concrete-faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1 km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu Rivers, and a Saddle Dam.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Tower Crane Operator (4 Positions)

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations and NVQ Level 3 in Lifting Operations, with a Tower Crane Operating Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating tower cranes.
• Ability to operate a crane without supervision.
• Adhere to safety regulations and ensure safe crane operation.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Ability to drive the crane to a worksite.
• Understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Certificate of Competency must be dated within two (2) years of this advert.
