Since 2010, One Young World has worked to guarantee young people from all 196 countries in the world are represented at OYW Summits, regardless of their ability to pay. To ensure this, fully-funded scholarship places are awarded to outstanding young leaders with a range of backgrounds, skill sets and nationalities.

2. Leading Middle East Scholarships to Attend the One Young World Summit 2020 (Fully Funded to Munich,Germany)

The Middle East’s future is filled with profound uncertainty. The region is host to one of the largest populations of young people, with around 65% of its population under the age of 30. With several countries experiencing the turmoil of war, conflict and sanctions, the Fourth Industrial Revolution could provide a lifeline to this young, eager population. Given their sheer numbers, they have the ability to transform their regions, whether it be in governance, energy, infrastructure, medicine and beyond.
In the midst of these challenges and opportunities, it is young leaders who are devising meaningful strategies to build a more sustainable region. Are you one of those leaders? If so, One Young World is looking to bring you to the next annual Summit.

3. 2020 One Young World Politician of the Year Award (Fully Funded to the One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich,Germany)

The One Young World Politician of the Year Award was created to recognise the most promising young politicians between the ages of 18-35 from around the world. The winners are chosen based on the impact they are having in their home countries and how they have used their position to benefit young people specifically. It is the first global award recognising the work of young politicians and was launched to counter the low level of youth engagement in politics.

4. RB-Invest for Life Scholarship 2020 (Fully Funded to One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich,Germany)
Application Deadline: April 10th 2020
Recognising that young leaders are essential partners in its mission, RB is pleased to support this scholarship to enable 8 outstanding young leaders to participate in the One Young World Summit 2020 as part of RB’s delegation. In addition to participating the Summit, scholars will gain access to exclusive RB sessions and form connections with peers and senior leaders from the company.

6. Asahi Growing Sustainably Scholarships 2020 for young emerging Leaders (Fully Funded to One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich,Germany)

This year, we’re proud to have partnered with One Young World to create the Lead2030 Challenge for SDG13. The Challenge aims to find and support solutions that will contribute to the future of sustainable agriculture by supporting and enabling farmers to reduce their emissions and/or help adaptation and resilience against the climate challenges of this decade and beyond.
In addition to our Lead2030 Challenge, we have created the Growing Sustainably Scholarship. This programme will enable 8 young leaders who are driving innovation in sustainable agriculture to participate in the One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich as part of Asahi’s global delegation.

The One Young World Journalist of the Year Award was created to recognise five of the most promising young journalists between the ages of 18 to 35 from around the world. The purpose of this award is to highlight the work of young journalists who are fearlessly and boldly inspiring others through their work, changing the way stories are reported, and empowering others by giving them a voice.

8. Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarships 2020 to attend the One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich, Germany (Fully Funded)
Application Deadline:24:00 GMT ON 30 APRIL 2020.
The Audi Environmental Foundation actively supports research into new technologies and scientific methods for a livable future. Its stated goal is to make a contribution to environmental protection and to create and promote ways of behaving sustainably.
Audi is therefore collaborating with One Young World to offer scholarships to 16 inspiring young leaders to attend this year’s One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich, Germany.
