Letšeng seeks to engage a qualified professional with the appropriate skills and aptitude to fill the position of
TOOLS STORE ATTENDANT-PATERSON BAND BU (1 x vacancy)
PURPOSE: The purpose of this role is to aid the Procurement team and management to receive and record all delivered stock and ensures accountability at the Workshop in adherence to Letšeng stores policies, procedures and controls.
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage & keep accurate records of all received goods and dispatched
- Perform stock checks and report on stock levels and keep records of parts used for repairs of tyres
- Check that incoming tools match the paperwork, and ensure that stock levels are accurate
- Ensure all tools/gear are tested and tagged
- Maintain hand tools and keep accurate records
- Correct issuing of all items from store including oils
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive (Electrical and mechanical)
- At least 4 years’ experience as storeman in mining
- Possession of fork lift licence
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Sound knowledge of storekeeping
- Sound Knowledge of housekeeping
- Good interpersonal skills
