The competition is open to anyone.

Details
The contest is organised by the Carve, an American literary magazine.

The competition is for original, unpublished literary fiction up to 10,000 words. The story must be in English.

This year’s guest judge is Leesa Cross-Smith.

Entry fees
The entry fee is $17.

Prizes
• 1st prize: $2,000
• 2nd prize: $500
• 3rd prize: $250
• two editor’s choice prizes of $125

The winners will be published in the fall issue of the magazine.
