PUBLIC NOTICE
The Proposed Alterations, Renovations and Extension of Motebang Hospital TB in Leribe District, Lesotho
Ministry of Health through the Southern African Tuberculosis Health System Support (SATBHSS) project wishes to announce the alterations, renovations and extension of Motebang Hospital TB Laboratory. This proposed works, may result in negative and positive impacts especially on the service delivery of the laboratory and the hospital in general during construction. Therefore the Ministry of Health is preparing an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) to address all the anticipated impact of this project. The construction phase is anticipated to commence on the 1st September 2019 for six (6) months.
In accordance with the Environmental Act 2008, Ministry of Health through the SATBHSS Project Implementing Unit has developed an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the above-mentioned project.
