Scholarship Notice
THE PAN AFRICAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP FOR PhD AND MASTER’S PROGRAMMES 2026
The African Union Commission with the office of the Commissioner in charge of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (EST) invites applications for scholarship for Pan African University, from suitable candidates to pursue Masters Degrees and PhD for the academic year 2026.
Conditions for application:
• Candidate must be a Lesotho citizen
• Be medically fit to undertake the scholarship.
• Maximum age of 25 years for male and 28 years for female applicants (Masters)
• Maximum age of 28 years for male and 30 years for female applicants (PhD)
• Hold Bachelor’s Degree for Master’s Degree and hold Master’s Degree for PhD.

• Copies of the online application documents.
• Detail CV
• Certified copies of National ID and passport.
• Clear coloured passport size photograph (2cmx2cm)
• Recommendation letter from ONE of his/her former University lecturers
• Names of 3 Reference University lecturers (with email address and WhatsApp number) (*Mandatory)
• Concept note for PhD candidates
• Proof of loan bursary repayment according to approved loan bursary criteria (for previously sponsored students).
