CBA is a local, humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization whose mandate is to assist the Lesotho Government in pushing back the frontiers of poverty through various interventions including Natural Resource Management; Economic Empowerment particularly for women and girls; Food security and Livelihoods; and of course HIV& AIDS prevention, care and support.

With support from the Global Fund (GF) CBA in collaboration with the Global fund will be implementing integration of TB/HIV.SRH and TB prevention, care and treatment programs in the 8 districts, namely; Berea, Mafeteng, Mohale’s Hoek, Butha-Buthe, Mokhotlong, Thaba-Tseka, Qacha’s Nek and Quthing. The project funded by Global Fund through the Government Principal Recipient (PR), Project Management Unit (PMU). The focus is on Integration of TB/HIV/SHR services.

Applications are invited from the suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

1. Finance Officer (1)

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

  • Qualified General Accountant / Degree in Accounting and Finance Two(2) years relevant experience required in finance and Admin functions in the field at an appropriate level, with sound understanding of working with NGOs ;
  • Experience with US funded projects is an added advantage
  • Experience interacting with remote project offices and field based staff is required;
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft word, Advanced excel techniques, Assess and PowerPoint ;
  • Knowledge of PASTEL accounting system is key;

2. Human Resource Officer (1)

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

  • First university degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology\or related field.
  • Proven experience as HR Officer, Administrator
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development).
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Experience in payroll administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office software applications; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills
  • Confidentiality in handling employees matters and salaries
  • Experience working in Program Management Unit (PMU) funded NGOs.
  • Able to assist in staff training (Induction, job training and evaluations of staff)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability

3. IT Support Officer (1)

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

  • A University diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems,
  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Software Development or any related qualification preferred
  • A minimum of two-years working experience as IT Support Officer or any other related positions
  • Proficiency in Window XP, Vista and Windows 10, Linux etc.
  • Good knowledge of various networking concepts
  • Management of a medium to large scale Windows based client-server network
  • Server Administration of Window Server 2012 (or greater), including experience setting up Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DHCP, etc.
  • Experience setting up and managing network firewall systems and endpoint security solutions
  • Ability to diagnose and repair basic hardware issues
  • Write and maintain documentation on the layout/design of the I.T. infrastructure
  • Experience writing hardware and software specifications for purchasing proposals for additional hardware/software
  • Ability to easily communicate technical information to non-technical management
  • Experience with database administration is added advantage
