Who may enter
The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers from around the world, aged 18 and over.
Description
The competition is run by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
“ If you have a good eye for photography and are passionate about the built environment, then why not take part in this year’s Art of Building competition? This is a competition that celebrates buildings and the relationship people have with the built environment.
Entry is limited to no more than three photographs per person.
All submissions must include a 50 word summary as to why the entrant feels the image fits the ‘The Art of Building’ theme.

Entry fees
The competition is free to enter.
Prizes
There are two awards to be won: the Judges’ Choice and the Public’s Choice. Both winners will receive a £1500 prize.
