Applications are now open for the 2027 Anzisha Venture Building Fellowship. The Anzisha Fellowship, Africa’s premier support programme dedicated to championing the continent’s most promising young entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- Age: You are 15–22 years old and have a valid National ID or passport.
- Location: You are a citizen of an African country.
- Venture: You have already started a business or project.
- Leadership: You are a founder leading the venture.
- Commitment: You spend 20+ hours per week working on it.
Benefits
$40 000 USD Worth of Prizes
At the end of the second year, entrepreneurs will pitch their ventures and demonstrate their growth over time, competing for a share of the prize pool. The four award categories are Job Creation, Revenue Growth, Storytelling, and Systems of Delivery.
Cash Stipends
Fellows receive milestone-based funding tied to business progress, ensuring capital is deployed effectively to drive growth, accountability, and disciplined execution.
Finance Readiness
Through targeted financial support, fellows build strong systems and investor-ready materials, positioning their ventures for funding, partnerships, and long-term growth.
Experiential Learning
Fellows engage in immersive shadowing experiences with high-performing entrepreneurs. This bridges theory and practice, offering real-time exposure to decision- making, operations, and leadership at scale, while accelerating mindset and capability development.
Educational Courses
The hybrid learning model combines self-paced digital courses with live, high-impact sessions. Fellows access practical, action-oriented content on demand, while coaches reinforce learning through application, ensuring knowledge translates into measurable business outcomes.
