Applications are now open for the 2026 Andela-CNCF Kubernetes African Developer Training Program. The Cloud Native Computing Foundation® (CNCF®), along with Linux Foundation Education, partnered with Andela, to train 20,000 to 30,000 African technologists in cloud native basics to enable them to excel in jobs globally as cloud native development grows.
The Kubernetes African Developer Training Program Details
This 7-week program will give you the opportunity to dive-deep into the world of cloud-native technologies and container orchestration through self-paced learning, mentor-led sessions, and peer-learning engagement.
In this program, you will complete the Kubernetes and Cloud Native Essential course on the Linux Foundation platform. This course will allow you to review the high-level architecture of Kubernetes, understand the challenges of container orchestration, and deliver and monitor your applications in distributed environments.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Linux commands, basic networking, and cloud computing
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Package managers
- Git and GitHub
