Consolidated Networks Corporation (CNC) is hiring a Testing and Systems Engineer to test network and system devices and system platforms to ensure they function properly and meet contract and mission requirements. Customers include the USAF and the US Army.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance;
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred;
- 5+ years working knowledge of relevant HW/SW platforms and testing methodologies and techniques;
- 5+ years working knowledge of Ethernet networking (TCP/IP, DNS, switching);
- 5+ year experience with routing and internet technologies.

- Test all aspects of the product/system : function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
- Work with design team to identify and capture test plan, procedures, reports, initial test cases, customer site pilot system tests.
- Set up of test environments, designing/authoring test plans, designing/authoring test procedures (step-by-step activities to be performed), developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases against relevant solution requirements, specifications, and design criteria.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk factors, and report to relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting trainers with initial system images, snapshots, and how-to content for student’s usage in practical lab activities
