Description
ROLE PURPOSE
Responsible for the overall management of the Dealers & Terminals functional teams. This includes crafting and implementation of the Dealer channel and Terminals strategy, effective management of the various channels for airtime, starter packs and devices, ensuring continuous performance and achievement of KPI’s, management of divisional expenditure, management of teams (both internal staff and contracted teams as well as the management of all key projects within the S& D portfolio.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Determines and communicates the Dealers and Terminals strategy
Leads Dealers & terminals teams to ensure the teams have clear priorities and are equipped with skills of the future
Creates Dealers & Terminals commercial plans as per company planning cycles
Drives active portfolio and lifecycle management of Dealers and Terminals proposition
Drives the achievement of Smartphone and 4G penetration
Monitors competitor and market developments to identify innovative product launch strategies and activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a commercial related course
3 – 5 years’ experience in Sales & Distribution
Basic knowledge of the Telecoms business and value chain and sound knowledge of distribution models and route-to-market.
