Tender Title
Supply, Installation, Commissioning of Medical Liquid Oxygen Storage and Distribution System – QMMH/ITT 01 OF 2026/2027
Background
- The Ministry of Health has allocated funds to Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Medical Liquid Oxygen Storage and Distribution System.
- The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
Bidding Process
- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Competitive Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement Act and is open to all bidders.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address provided in section 9(a) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working days.
- The bidding document, in English, may be obtained by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address provided in section 9(b).
Submission of Bids
- Bids must be delivered to the address provided in section 9(c) at or before 02 September 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
- All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Fifty Thousand Maloti (M50,000.00).
- Bid securities must be valid until 30 December 2026.
- Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address provided in section 9(c) on 02 September 2026 at 2:15 p.m.
Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit
- There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/site inspection visit on 15 July 2026 at 09:00 a.m. at Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital. Attendance is mandatory for all prospective bidders.
Eligibility Requirements
- Documentation required to provide evidence of eligibility shall include:
- Valid Trader’s License
- Valid Tax Clearance
- Audited financial statements for a period of three (3) years to the current financial year
- A declaration in the Bid Submission Sheet of the nationality of the bidder
- A declaration in the Bid Submission Sheet that the bidder is not under debarment by the authority
- Company extract and certificate of incorporation
