TENDER NOTICE: Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of 11kV and 33kV Auto-Reclosers
Reference: LEC/PO-1147/2025/26
Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) invites interested and qualified electrical engineering entities to submit tender “Procurement of Works Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of 11kV and 33kV Auto-Reclosers”. All interested bidders must be in possession of a proven track record and must be licensed for providing works of this nature.
All bidders must attach copies of valid Tax Clearance Certificates and Company Registration Licences or equivalents as bids without these documents shall be disqualified.
The full Invitation to Tender (ITT) Document indicating all requirements and specifications may be downloaded on the LEC website (www.lec.co.ls).
Conditions
- The Bids must be submitted in English.
- Tenders received later than the deadline mentioned below, telegraphic, faxed or emails shall not be accepted.
- There shall be a compulsory site visit as scheduled in the table below.
- Interested entities shall pay a non-refundable participation fee of One Thousand Maloti Only (M1,000.00).
- Detailed tender packaging and labelling requirements in the ITT must be adhered to, failure of which shall lead to disqualification.
Payment Procedures
Interested bidders may use Speed Point facility: LEC Customer Care, or electronic funds transfer (EFT) using the banking details provided in the tender document.
Proof of payment should be brought to any LEC Customer Services for the bidder to get a receipt of payment. The receipt of payment should be submitted along with the bids. Only electrical engineering entities who submitted the receipt shall be considered in this Tender.
