1. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
Lerotholi Polytechnic (hereinafter referred to as “the Polytechnic” or “LP”) is a public technical and vocational education and training institution located in Maseru, Kingdom of Lesotho. The Polytechnic provides technical, vocational, and continuing education programmes across multiple schools and administrative departments.
Lerotholi Polytechnic invites suitably qualified, experienced and reputable companies to submit sealed bids for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System at the UNIPOD Building, Lerotholi Polytechnic, Maseru, Lesotho.
Interested bidders may request bidding documents from the Procurement Office at a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Maloti Only (M500.00), by email to [email protected] with the Proof of Payment attached as a PDF. Bidding documents must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to 5% of the bid amount.
Additional requirements and instructions are as specified in the tender document.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The successful bidder shall provide a complete CCTV solution, including:
• Supply of high-definition IP CCTV cameras.
• Supply of Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
• Supply of surveillance-grade hard drives.
• Supply and installation of PoE network switches.
• Supply of installation of network cabling and accessories.
• Supply and installation of camera mounting brackets.
• Supply of monitors for CCTV monitoring.
• Supply of UPS/power backup equipment.
• Installation and configuration of all CCTV equipment.
• Testing and commissioning of the complete system.
• Labelling and documentation of all installed equipment and cabling.
• Training of designated Lerotholi Polytechnic personnel.
• Provision of warranty and after-sales technical support.
The contractor shall ensure that the CCTV system is delivered as a fully operational system, ready for use by Lerotholi Polytechnic.
3. BID SUBMISSIONS
Bid submissions must meet all the conditions indicated below, failure to comply with conditions 3.1 (a), 3.1 (b), 3.1 (c) and 3.1 (h) will lead to disqualification.
3.1 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
b) Valid Traders Licence.
c) VAT registration certificate (where applicable).
d) Company Profile.
e) The submission shall include three (3) references where similar assignments were undertaken and should specify the full names of client companies, contact person(s), their email addresses and telephone numbers. All references will be contacted for further information on those assignments.
f) Lesotho SHALL be applicable.
g) Late submissions shall not be accepted.
h) Compulsory site visit will be conducted on 11 September 2026 at 10:00 am. Bidders will assemble at UNIPOD building next to the main gate for registration.

TENDER SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Tender documents must be deposited in the Tender Box situated in the Administration II Foyer, on or before Thursday 17 September 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
Tenders will be opened the same day at 14:00 hrs at the Administration I Block Conference Room, in the presence of the Tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
LP reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in whole or part without giving reasons for its decision.
