INVITATION TO BIDDERS
BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN COMPETITIVE TENDERING
Project Title: Supply and Delivery of Protective Clothing
Reference No.: LEGCO/PC/06/2025-2026
1. Funding and Purpose
The Lesotho Electricity Generation Company (LEGCO) has allocated funds for the acquisition of protective clothing.
2. Scope of Supply
LEGCO invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of protective clothing.
3. Procurement Method
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National Bidding method as outlined in the Public Procurement Act, and is open to all bidders.
4. Access to Bidding Documents
Interested eligible bidders may:
- Inspect the bidding documents at the address below (see 8(a)) between 08:30 a.m. and 16:00 p.m.

5. Submission of Bids
- Deadline: Bids must be delivered to the address below (see 8(c)) on or before 24 October 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
- Bid Security: All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of M2,000, valid until 18 February 2026
- Late bids will be rejected
- Bid Opening: Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below (see 8(d)) at 11:30 a.m. on 24 October 2025
6. Pre-Bid Meeting
There shall be no pre-bid meeting for this tender.
