BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN COMPETITIVE TENDERING
Supply and Delivery of Food Fodder for Police Training College (P.T.C) – LOT 1, Special Operations Unit (S.O.U) & Disaster – LOT 2 for the Financial Year 2026/2027

1. Background
The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police has been allocated/received funds from the Government of Lesotho to be used for the acquisition of the Supply and Delivery of Food Fodder for Police Training College (P.T.C) – LOT 1, Special Operations Unit (S.O.U) & Disaster – LOT 2 for the financial year 2026/2027.
2. Invitation to Bidders
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Goods.
3. Bidding Method
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Inspection of Bidding Documents
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a), from 08:00 hrs to 16:30 hrs.
5. Purchase of Bidding Documents
The Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of M300.00.
The method of payment will be cash.
Electronic copies of the bidding document shall be provided free of charge. However, bidders requiring hard copies shall be required to pay the prescribed fee.
Bidders requesting hard copies are required to present proof of payment to the Procurement Department, Ground Floor, at Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Headquarters.
6. Submission and Opening of Bids
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 10H00 on 16th October 2026.
Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 10H30 on 16th October 2026.
7. Pre-Bid Meeting
There shall not be a pre-bid meeting.
