Procurement of Works for BOTŠABELO AND MAZENOD SUBSTATIONS REFURBISHMENT

Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) invites interested and qualified electrical engineering entities to submit tender for the Procurement of Works for BOTŠABELO AND MAZENOD SUBSTATIONS REFURBISHMENT. All interested bidders must be in possession of a proven track record and must be licensed for providing works of this nature.
All bidders must attach copies of valid Tax Clearance Certificates and Company Registration Licenses or equivalents, as bids without these documents shall be disqualified.

Conditions
- The bids must be submitted in English.
- Tenders received later than the deadline mentioned below, telegraphic, faxed or emails shall not be accepted.
- There shall be a compulsory site visit on 10 April 2026 @ 10:00 a.m. at BOTŠABELO AND MAZENOD SUBSTATIONS.
- Registration will start from 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
- Late bidders will not be considered.
- Detailed tender packaging and labelling requirements in the ITT must be adhered to, failure of which shall lead to disqualification.
Participation Fee
Interested bidders shall pay a non-refundable participation fee of M1,000.00.
Payment procedures:
Interested bidders may use:
- Cash
- Speed point facility: LEC Customer Care
- Electronic funds transfer (EFT) using the banking details provided in the tender document
Proof of payment should be brought to any LEC Customer Services for the bidder to get a receipt of payment. Receipt of payment should be submitted along with the bids.
Only electrical engineering entities who submitted the receipt of M1,000.00 shall be considered in this tender.
