INVITATION TO TENDER
Reference: LEC/PO‑1149/2025/26
The Lesotho Electricity Company (Pty) Ltd (LEC) invites interested and eligible entities to submit tenders for the Procurement of Step Ladders.
All interested bidders must have a proven track record and be properly licensed to supply goods and services of this nature.
Mandatory Requirements
All bidders must attach certified copies of the following documents:
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Valid Company Registration Licence (or equivalent)
Bids submitted without these documents will be disqualified.

Conditions of Tender
- A non‑refundable participation fee of Five Hundred Maloti (M500.00) is required
- All bids must be submitted in English
- Late tenders, as well as tenders submitted by telegraph, fax, or email, will not be accepted
- Tender packaging and labelling requirements as stated in the Tender Document must be strictly adhered to, failure of which will result in disqualification
Payment of Participation Fee
Payment may be made:
- At any Speed Point facility at LEC Customer Services, or
- Via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) using the bank details provided in the Tender Document
Proof of payment must be submitted together with the tender.

- Public Opening of Bids (LEC Head Office): 04 May 2026 at 10:30 hours
