INVITATION TO BIDDERS
BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN COMPETITIVE TENDERING
Tender For
Maintenance of yellow plant and trucks; supply, delivery and fitting of tyres; lubricants; welding, fabrications and frameworks.
1. Funding Source
The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police will receive funds from the Government of Lesotho to be used for the acquisition of the above‑listed goods and services.
2. Invitation to Bid
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the stated goods and services.
3. Procurement Method
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National Competitive Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement Act, and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Inspection of Documents
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect bidding documents at the address below under section 8(a) from:
08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday).
5. Purchase of Bidding Documents
Bidding documents (in English) may be purchased by interested bidders by submitting a written application to the address in 8(b) and upon payment of a non‑refundable fee of M2,500.00, payable in cash at Thaba‑Tseka Urban Council.
6. Submission of Bids
Bids must be delivered to the address in 8(c) before 10:00 a.m. on 27 April 2026.
• All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount.
• Bid securities or bid‑securing declarations must be valid until 27 June 2026.
• Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address in 8(d) at:
10:30 a.m. on 27 April 2026.
7. Mandatory Site Visit
There shall be a site visit for bidders interested in the Maintenance of Yellow Plant and Trucks category.
