STANDARD INVITATION TO BIDDERS
BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN COMPETITIVE TENDERING
Project Title: Installation of High Mast Solar Light
Reference No.: LEGCO/HMSL/05/2025-2026
1. Funding and Purpose
The Lesotho Electricity Generation Company (LEGCO) has allocated/received funds for the installation of high mast solar lights.
2. Scope of Work
LEGCO invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Procurement Method
Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Public Procurement Act.
4. Access to Bidding Documents
Interested eligible bidders may:
- Inspect the bidding documents at the address below (see 8(a)) between 08:30 a.m. and 16:00 p.m.

5. Submission of Bids
- Deadline: Bids must be delivered to the address below (see 8(c)) on or before 24 October 2025
- Bid Security: All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of M5,000, valid until 18 February 2026
- Late bids will be rejected
- Bid Opening: Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below (see 8(d)) at 11:30 a.m. on 24 October 2025
6. Pre-Bid Meeting / Site Visit
A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at Ha Ramarothole, Mafeteng on 26 September 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
