Project Background
The Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP) is a multi-billion Maloti/Rand bi-national initiative established under the 1986 Treaty between the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa. The project encompasses large-scale civil engineering, socio-economic development, public health, and environmental management.
The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA), as the implementing agency, invites tenders for geotechnical investigation services in support of the Oxbow Hydropower Plant (HPP) Tender Design under Phase II of the LHWP.
