Tender Name TENDER FOR WAREHOUSE LEASING
- The National Drug Service Organization (NDSO) is a Trading Account for the Ministry of Health in Lesotho. It is mandated to procure, store and distribute Medicines, Medical Supplies and Laboratory Consumables for the Health Institutions in Lesotho. NDSO was legally established through a gazette Supplement No.4 to Gazette No.19 of the 2nd March 2007. The Government Hospitals use their allocated funds for drugs, dressings and other allocations to buy the supplies from NDSO. These funds are used by NDSO to Procure Medicines, Medical Supplies and other Health Sector Goods from eligible Suppliers using the tendering method of procurement.
- The National Drug Service Organization has obtained funds from the Global Fund to Fight Tuberculosis, AIDS and Malaria (GFTAM) towards the cost of Strengthening, Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS in Lesotho and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this account to payments under contracts for the Leasing of Warehouse, NDSO/WAREHOUSE-LEASING/2018/09.
- The National Drug Service Organisation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the leasing of warehouse.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 0800 to 1630 hours, Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. Your bid must also take note of the following conditions:
- Awards will be based only on approved warehouses that meet NDSO requirements.
- The Warehouse required must be within 300-500 square meters with a minimum height of 2.1 meters and must preferably have a minimum of two doors of the dimensions, width of 2 meters and height 3 meters.
- The Warehouse must be located in Mafeteng district and must be within a radius of 5km from NDSO with accessible road for trucks and cars.
- The warehouse facility must have two toilets and a room for security.
- The warehouse roofing must have a ceiling or be insulated for minimisation of temperature and the roof should not be leaking during heavy rains.
- The Warehouse must be fenced for Security purposes.
- There’s no need for Shelving & Racking, only an open space is required.
- The bids must indicate;
- the unit Price per square Metre per Month,
- the Total Price for the whole Warehouse Per Month (which is derived from multiplying the price per square metre by the total area of the warehouse) and
- the total price per year (which is derived from multiplying the total Price of the whole warehouse per month by twelve) and
- the escalation percentage per annum if any.
- The bid validity period shall be ninety (90) days after the deadline for bid submission.
- The period of availability of the Warehouse must be indicated, prior to leasing and duration of leasing as NDSO is willing to hire the Warehouse for a Minimum Period of Three Years.
- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Eight Hundred Lesotho Maloti (LSL 800.00) (which is equivalent to South African Rand). The method of payment will be cash, Bank certified cheque, or telegraphic transfer to the bank account details below with all bank charges to the account of the Bidder. Proof of purchase of bidding documents will be required for participation in the tender.
- You are requested to submit your bid within the stipulated delivery period on or before 1400 hours on Friday, 26th October, 2018. The bid must be mailed or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope marking the Tender Number, to be received by NDSO on or before 14:00 Hours on Friday, 26th October, 2018 at the address indicated below. Late bids will be rejected. The Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 1430 hours on 26th October, 2018
