NVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER NO: C28 – MloG – 2019-20/P&M/TYRES
PROJECT NAME: SUPPLY, FITTING, REPAIR AND BALANCING TYRES INCLUDING WHEEL ALIGNMENT SERVICES TO THEIR ROAD CONSTRUCTION PLANT AND MACHINERY.
The ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship Affairs, acting through the Berea District Council invites tenders for supply, fitting, repairing and balancing tyres including wheel alignment services to their road construction plant and machinery. The invitation is open to all locally registered eligible suppliers who is in possession of Motor Garage Licence.

Bidders’ Qualifications and Eligibility
Bidders are expected to be in compliance with tax obligation and attach valid copies of tax clearances, trader’s licences certified at the issuing organisations. Must submit a bid security (2%) of bid amount and it must be a locally bank guaranteed cheque/ bank guarantee. In order for a company to qualify for bidding, such company must register and pay non refundable registration fee amounting to Two Thousand Maloti only (M2 000.00) The method of payment must be cash payable at Finance Office, Berea Urban council Office (Near Education offices). Bid documents are obtainable from Berea District Council Office (Old LSPP Office behind Taoana square) after pre tender meeting. Additional requirements are as specified in the tender document.
Tender Submission
Original of tender response in sealed envelopes marked Technical proposal together with its three copies and the other one marked financial proposal together with its three copies must be in one sealed envelope or packaging bearing no identification of bidder must be clearly marked: “tender for supply, fitting and balancing tyres”. And shall be deposited in tender box situated at Berea District Council Office (Old Lspp office behind Taoana square) near Reception office at the office’s main entrance on or before 09:00am 19/12/2019 (closing date).Tenders will be opened on the same day (closing date) at 10.00am at Berea District Council’s office in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Late bids will not be accepted. Tenders that are not clearly and correctly marked shall be disqualified. All bidders shall submit certified copies, not originals, all certified at source. All clarifications on this tender must be addressed to the Procurement Unit, Berea District Council (Old Lspp office behind Taoana square).
