TENDER NOTICE
BID REF: 01/DCS/2025-2026/BB
The Botha-Bothe District Council Procurement Unit hereby invites tenders from locally registered and experienced companies for the provision of security services.
Tender Document Availability
Tender documents are obtainable from Botha-Bothe District Council’s Procurement Unit upon request via email at [email protected].
To participate in this tender, bidders must pay a non-refundable participation fee of M2,000.00 (Two Thousand Maloti only) in cash, payable at the Botha-Bothe Urban Council Accounts Division between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS
All prospective bidders must attach the following documents to their bids:
✔ Certificate of Incorporation with company extracts.
✔ Copy of a valid Identity Card and Certificate of Business Name.
✔ Copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
✔ Copy of VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable).
✔ Valid Security Services Registration Certificate (certified at source).
✔ Valid Firearm Certification (certified at source).
✔ Bid Security of 1% of the bid amount.
✔ Receipt of Participation Fee Payment.
Bid Submission Details
Sealed bids, consisting of one original and four copies, must be clearly marked:
“TENDER FOR PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES AT BOTHA-BOTHE DISTRICT COUNCIL OFFICES”
- Bids must not bear any identification of the bidder or company.
- Submission Location: Tender Box at Botha-Bothe District Council Offices (Reception Area), Old LSPP Offices (opposite Lesotho Correctional Offices).
- Deadline for Submission: 3rd April 2025, at 11:00 AM.
- Tender Opening: 3rd April 2025, at 11:30 AM.
Late bids will not be accepted.
Reservation of Rights
Botha-Bothe District Council reserves the right to:
✅ Cancel the tender before submission or opening of proposals.
✅ Postpone the proposal submission/opening date.
✅ Accept or reject any or all proposals at any time prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to bidders.
✅ Decline the lowest or any bid received.
