TENDER NOTICE NO: TTDC/LoGCPHA/1
The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Police and Home Affairs (MoLGCPHA) has been mandated to promote effective and sustainable management of land, housing and Urban Development in Lesotho as provided for under relevant legislation and government policies.
In pursuit of this objective MoLG intends to undertake construction of gravel roads in rural areas across the country with the following objectives:
- To provide cost effective infrastructural development in rural areas;
- To improve access in rural areas and
- To enhance socio- economic development
District Council Thaba-Tseka invites interested Lesotho registered companies to submit their tenders for DRILLING AND BLASTING SERVICES in the construction of rural roads at Mateu- Methalaneng and Mokoto Matsaile.
A set tender document costs a non-refundable value of M2, 000.00 (Two thousand Maloti only) payable at Urban Council Accounts Office opposite Lesotho Post Bank. Tender documents are obtainable at the Procurement Office Thaba-Tseka (opposite Education Offices).
Sealed envelope (original and four (4) hard copies) bearing no identificatoin of the tenderer, should be marked TENDER FOR DRILLING AND BLASTING SERVICES. The envelope should be deposited on or before the 27/09/2023 at 10: 00 am. in the tender box at the District council office Thaba Tseka. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened at 10:30 am on the same day in the presence of tenderers or their representatives.
Compulsory site inspection will be conducted on the 28-29/08/2023 respectively. All the bidders must cater for their transport and assemble at Thaba-Tseka District Council at 8:30 am.
All queries and clarifications should be addressed in writing to the Secretary, Procurement Unit, Thaba – Tseka District Council on or before 08/09/2023. Thaba Tseka District Council reserves the right to accept or reject all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. The Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
