FOR THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION UNIT (REU)

Project Title
Design and Build Electrification of Khafung: Liphiring and Ha‑Bose Villages in the Berea District
1. Background
The Rural Electrification Unit (REU) has allocated/received funds to be used for the electrification works in Khafung: Liphiring and Ha‑Bose Villages in the Berea District.
2. Invitation
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Procurement Method
Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement Act and the Regulations made under the Act and is competitive to all bidders.
4. Access to Bidding Documents
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given under paragraph 8(a) below during working hours from 08H00 to 16H30.
5. Purchase of Bidding Documents
The bidding document, prepared in the English language, shall be shared with all LEC Category A Contractors.
For participation in the bidding process, interested bidders shall pay a non‑refundable purchasing fee of LSL 3,000.00 (Three Thousand Lesotho Loti).

6. Submission of Bids
Bids must be delivered to the address listed under paragraph 8(c) on or before 23 April 2026 at 10H00.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid‑Securing Declaration using the form provided in the bidding document.
Late bids shall be rejected.
