GOVERNMENT OF LESOTHO
MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORT
APPLICATION TO SUPPLY NUMBER PLATES
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has been supplying and embossing number plates on its own until the year 2020. In 2021, the Ministry decided to engage private companies to supply number plates for a period of five (5) years. The contract has come to an end in the financial year 2025/2026.
The Ministry has decided to fully privatize the issuance of number plates. The suppliers will be responsible for the issuance of number plates to clients, including payments.
